Day 1-3: Decameron Beach Resort
First thing in the morning, have a cup of Panamanian coffee and drive to Farrallon
to the All Inclusive Decameron Resort. Royal Decameron Beach Resort, offers a
traditional All Inclusive experience and more. Located on 2 kilometers of secluded
white sand beach, Royal Decameron boasts 8 large pools, 10 restaurants (8 a al
carte) and 11 bars (including 1 swim up bar), all surrounded by lush gardens on a
hill overlooking the Pacific ocean. After checking-in, maybe you’ll want to book a
massage either on the beach or in the spa. Maybe play a round on the 18-hole golf
course or take part in the many organized activities, from volleyball to water
aerobics. Or take advantage of many free non-motorized water-sports options. At
night, eat at one of the 8 specialty restaurants. After dinner, take in the sites
and sounds of Panama at the nightly show (different show every night).

Day 4: Chiriqui Highlands
Ready for some action? After breakfast, we drive to Boquete. Along the way we stop
for local foods. By the time we arrive in Boquete it will be time for dinner. After
dinner, you might want to take a stroll around town. There’s a lot of adventure the
next day!

Day 5: Whitewater Rafting
Safety comes first, so nothing too dangerous but a lot of fun. The Gariche River is
abundant in lush vegetation, exotic birds, and pristine waterfalls. This river is
great for seeing monkeys. Mostly Class II and III rapids, this river offers that
quintessential combination of sheer tropical beauty and exciting whitewater.

Day 6: The Boquete Tree Trek
Strap on a harness and zip from tree to tree. Come on! This is so much fun! This
canopy is 3 kilometer long. The guides at the tree trek are so cool and they make
you feel safe the whole time. Their guides also take pictures so if you can't
steady the camera chances are they will have some good shots of you!

Day 7: Panama City
Late afternoon we fly back to Panama City. Dinner on the Amador causeway seems like
the perfect place to enjoy a well deserved dinner after "trekking" for a whole week.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Seasonal Climate: Panama has a tropical climate with high temperature and humidity,
the average temperature 30°C. The rainy season is from May to November and the
summer from December to April. The rainfall is of a tropical nature, falling for 1-2 hours
in the afternoon.
Required Documents: U.S. and Canadian citizens are strongly encouraged to have a
passport which is valid for six months from the date of entry. Travelers are
required to purchase a $5 tourist card (provided by the airline) for entry into
Panama. UK, CAN, USA, NZ and AUS citizens do not require a visa for a stay up to 90
days. Other nationalities should consult their consular office.
Vaccinations & Protection: Nothing compulsory, but we recommend protection against Malaria,
Typhoid, Infectious Hepatitis and Polio if you are traveling to Jungles of Darien, Bocas del Toro or San Blas.
Special Note: Visa and Vaccination requirements are subject to change and should be
confirmed before departure.
PACKING FOR YOUR TRIP
A recommended list of clothing and personal gear will be provided before your trip.
Here we make a few specific recommendations with regard to your Package.
Luggage: One main piece of luggage and a daypack. Total allowance: 44lbs /20kgs.
Clothing: Pack essentially for Hot Conditions. Lightweight clothing is essential
though a warmer sweater is advisable in A/C settings. A rain jacket is Recommended
during the green season. Footwear: A pair of lightweight shoes or sandals are
recommended. They should be comfortable and broken in before coming to Panama.
Equipment: We recommend a sunhat, a Flash Light/torch, insect repellent, umbrella
during the Green Season. Binoculars are very useful for bird and animal spotting
and a camera.
Included
All ground and air transportation within your trip, all accommodations, local
tourism and services taxes, all activities as described in the itinerary and some
meals.
Not Included
R/T transportation from your home city to Panama City, beer, liquor and bottled
water in hotel rooms, items of a personal nature (laundry, telephone, etc.),
gratuities, travel insurance, international airport departure taxes.
