Day 1: Arrive Panama City
Upon arrival in Panama City, you will be met not just at the airport but at the gate for a VIP reception. Don't worry about your bags or customs we take care of all these little inconveniences as soon as you arrive. While you're waiting for your baggage enjoy your favorite beverage in the Royal Saloon.

Day 2: Kayaking the Panama Canal
What a wonderful way to see the Panama Canal at a different pace. This incredible kayaking adventure puts you in the heart of the Panama Canal. Your adventure begins by travelling to Gamboa in the Soberania National Park. Here you will board a fast boat and head north in the Panama Canal near a series of islands known as a haven for Howler & White faced monkeys. Along the way to your put in site you will have an opportunity to see large ships as they pass through the isthmus. Most people think that kayaking in the canal is got to be ugly. However, all of our guests after kayaking with us agree on one thing, this description falls short of the beauty and uniqueness this adventure offers.

Day 3: Mountain Biking
This mountain bike adventure should be called jungle biking. Soberania National Park and only 30 minutes from Panama City. It is a single track type of trail, deep inside the Panamanian rainforest. You will be riding over different kinds of surfaces like hard packed sand, dirt, pieces of asphalt (from the old road), rocks, mud, and everything in between. Ninety percent of the trail runs under the shadows of giant tropical trees and it contains its fare share of streams. This trail is full of wildlife that you will see, hear and enjoy. This ride is 14 kilometers roundtrip and most light riders only go 4 Kilometers one-way so they can spend more time looking for wildlife.

Day 4: The Jungle Challenge
Today you embark on a challenging trek through dense jungle growth, along a narrow trail with many steep inclines and treacherous descents. One by one, you face the first of the falls in the Heart of Darkness. After rappelling the slippery, 15- meter waterfall, you disengage and swim through the cool pool to await your fellow explorers. After this first challenge, you continue down stream to a 30-meter waterfall. You scramble along the winding riverbed. You'll continue to trek through unpredictable jungle terrain until you reach the final fall. After a 3 meter roped descent, you finally return to the Chagres River, where your canoe awaits. You'll enjoy the canoe transfer back to the Emberá community where you can change clothes, warm up, relax and a quick lunch before heading back to Panama City.

Day 5: Whitewater Rafting in Chiriqui Viejo
You will be transferred to the airport at 06:00 AM and flown to David in Chiriqui. Your Flight departs at approx 7:30 AM. Pack light since the airlines only allow 25lbs of luggage. Upon arrival in David you will be picked up and taken to the putg in site on the Chiriqui Viejo River. The Palon Section of Chiriqui Viejo river is a class III and IV with non stop excitement, pristine tropical forest, and even a picturesque 30 foot waterfall are a combined treat for any rafter. Considerably narrower than its counterpart and dropping at a faster speed, the Viejo requires quick, tight maneuvering to get through the many rock gardens and enormous boulders and delivers continuous white water that contribute to its class IV ranking.

Day 6: The Boquete Tree Trek
Who would have thought that a technology utilized hundreds of years ago by our indigenous people and later perfected by botanists and naturalists to observe and study the behaviors of wild creatures in their natural habitat, would be transformed into one of the most revered extreme sports. A harness, an ultra-resistant steel cable and gravity are the only elements necessary to suspend and propel you; in this incredible experience. This Canopy is the longest in Panama.

Day 7: Bocas del Toro
Early this morning, you will travel to Bocas del Toro. In this largely English-speaking haven on the Caribbean coast, near Costa Rica, you'll find palm-fringed beaches, lush rainforests and a welcoming town with a relaxed ambiance. Take a light rain jacket or umbrella as you explore the wooden townhouses of the United Fruit Company that once was headquartered here and settle into the Bocas Inn, our launch point for exploring the Bastimentos Marine National Park, home of night monkeys, two- and three-toed sloths, pacas and more. Day 8: Snorkeling
Snorkeling in Bastimentos Bastimentos Marine National Park is Panama's first marine park. Here amid the pounding surf are some of the most spectacular coral reefs of the Caribbean. As you snorkel among them, watch for colorful tropical fish and marine invertebrates. Red poison dart frogs are popular among visitors to Bastimentos Marine National Park. Perhaps you will spot one as we hike the narrow trails along the beach this morning.

Day 9: At Your Leisure/Panama City
After breakfast, you have the rest of the day to explore this charming town on your own. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Panama City or you can choose and early flight and return home.

Transfer to the international airport at least two hours before your flight's scheduled departure time. (B)
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Seasonal Climate: Panama has a tropical climate with high temperature and humidity, the average temperature 30°C. The rainy season is from May to November and the summer from December to April. The rainfall is of a tropical nature, falling for 1-2 hours in the afternoon.
Required Documents: U.S. and Canadian citizens are strongly encouraged to have a passport which is valid for six months from the date of entry. Travelers are required to purchase a $5 tourist card (provided by the airline) for entry into Panama. UK, CAN, USA, NZ and AUS citizens do not require a visa for a stay up to 90 days. Other nationalities should consult their consular office.
Vaccinations & Protection: Nothing compulsory, but we recommend protection against Malaria, Typhoid, Infectious Hepatitis and Polio if you are traveling to Jungles of Darien, Bocas del Toro or San Blas. Special Note: Visa and Vaccination requirements are subject to change and should be confirmed before departure.
PACKING FOR YOUR TRIP
A recommended list of clothing and personal gear will be provided before your trip. Here we make a few specific recommendations with regard to your Package.
Luggage: One main piece of luggage and a daypack. Total allowance: 44lbs /20kgs.
Clothing: Pack essentially for Hot Conditions. Lightweight clothing is essential though a warmer sweater is advisable in A/C settings. A rain jacket is Recommended during the green season. Footwear: A Pair of sport shoes or sandals like Keens are recommended. Light hiking boots which should be comfortable and broken in before coming to Panama.
Equipment: We recommend a sunhat, a Flash Light/torch, insect repellent, Rain gear during the Green Season. Binoculars are very useful for bird and animal spotting and a camera.
