The best hiking seasons to visit are the spring and fall.
The climate is mild and the olive groves and indigenous trees are verdant and aromatic.
Our trips offer a week of varied explorations encompassing pueblos blancos, stunning coastal and mountain views.
Please note that our hikes are at a medium level. A reasonable level of fitness and/or determination is needed.
FLOWER WEEKS
April & May are fabulous times to visit, through these mountains as roadside verges, pastures and scrubland turn glorious colors with a varied selection of wild flowers. The springtime rains have ensured a vivid display and many plants compete for space in a hurry to flower and set their seeds before the ground dries out during the summer months. Hillsides can turn yellow with shrubby Retama, whereas the many meadows are a tapestry of pastel shades brimming with annuals.
